Goodwin Design is Malcolm Goodwin
Providing creative graphic design services since 1980, Malcolm offers particular expertise with illustration (digital and traditional), corporate ID/branding, print media, and design of interpretive, wayfinding or donor recognition signage .
Starting his career in Toronto as a technical illustrator and designer he worked with a wide range of clients – government, industrial, commercial, and retail. Moving back to Peterborough, Malcolm and his wife Lezlie ran a successful downtown studio until a job offer came from Parks Canada – Trent-Severn Waterway headquarters office. He spent a decade working as their Media Specialist, producing publications, exhibits, wayfinding and interpretive signage.
Leaving the public sector, Malcolm held a position as a senior designer at Point of View Visual Communications where he had the opportunity to take the creative lead on an extensive list of projects for clients throughout Ontario.
In 2005, Malcolm went solo once again and founded Goodwin Design, which he now runs from his home next to the Otonabee River near Peterborough Ontario. He produces graphic communication for print, web, signage, exhibit and donor recognition.
Malcolm’s other interests include speaker building, carving, painting, boating and his dog Stella.
